Chai Kada:Cotton Embroidered Saree

Chai kada — the roadside tea shop — worked in dark thread across an off-white cotton base, with small coconut palm and shop motifs scattered through the drape and a golden kasavu border along the length.

It's an everyday Kerala scene turned into saree detailing, and the embroidery gives the motifs raised definition that print can't match. The full 6.25 metre length allows traditional draping with a well-set pallu, while cotton keeps it comfortable through long wear.
